You will be given a short story with a prompt that asks you to select a passage (a brief section/moment from the story) and to use it to write a paragraph-length literary response. Things to remember: structure should be topic sentence, evidence & commentary (with quotes), closing sentence; more commentary than evidence; paragraphs are as long as they need to be to prove the point made in the topic sentence.
