For this assignment you must draw an editorial cartoon on a subject related to our school, with the intention of using at least two satirical techniques. For this assignment you must:

• Select an issue specific to our school that you believe requires criticism or commentary

• Draw a single-panel editorial comic that provides satirical commentary

• Use at least two satirical techniques

Complete a written analysis of one-two paragraphs that explores how the cartoon uses satire to provide commentary on the subject. This analysis must clearly detail the effect of the chosen techniques AND explore the juvenalian/horatian content of the cartoon and why this approach was used.

Goals are to explore how a variety of satirical techniques can be used to achieve a particular effect.

Exemplary Work should be highlighly detailed and organized in its presentation of its satirical exploration.
