Production of your Dramatic Script

There is no writing assignment this week, but on Monday you are to present a production of your dramatic script. This will require you to have practiced it before hand. Your goal is to act out your play in such a way that the audience is not distracted by on-stage confusion, unclear delivery of lines, or undefined characters, events, or setting. Be sure to:

  • Use a variety of theatrical elements (such as backdrop, music, props, movement, monologue, etc)

  • Use clear vocal delivery that ensures dialogue is clearly understood and properly emphasized by controlling volume, pace, etc.

  • Demonstrate an equal share of responsibility

It is not required that you memorize your lines, but you may choose to use cue cards. You must, regardless, show that you know your material.
